About Prakashanand Kanya Vidyalaya
Girl’s education is of prime importance in order to have a positive impact on Indian Society through their contribution at home and professional fields. But there are number of factors that are holding them back from attending school which involve early marriage and pregnancy, security issues due to violence in school and outside, long distance travelling for school, poverty heading to child labour etc.
Kanya Vidyalaya ( the only girl’s school in the whole Danpur district) in Aligarh, UP is a new hope for girls who want to study and build their future. It’s only for girls with an aim to focus on providing good quality and an affordable education in order to break a vicious cycle that rendered women powerless generation after generation.

To provide quality education to the underprivileged children especially girls of the nearby rural area.

Striving for high quality education by creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students with the help of qualified teachers and utilisation of quality learning resources.
Personality Development
Emphasis on overall personality development by teaching proper grooming and personal hygiene, good manners, social skills, self-confidence, communication skills and creativity.
Strengthening communication skills
Encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities like storytelling, poem recitation, speech, reading out loud and many more. Also, helping students to understand new vocabulary through audio -visual aids.

Smt. Sangeeta Sharma
Founder
Smt. Sangeeta Sharma has vast experience in teaching. She strongly believes in providing a good quality of education and building a strong base for students.
“Villagers here have social taboo and mind blockage about educating their daughters which is mainly due to security issues, long distance travelling for schools, bad quality of education system in nearby schools, early marriage, poverty etc. Considering this, we are putting our best efforts by training students as well as teachers to work in the direction of imparting good quality of education.”
Shri. Chandra Prakash Sharma
Founder
Shri. Chandra Prakash Sharma is a retired Electrical Engineer from Doordashan. He planned to spend the rest of his life where he grew up (Shekhupur)after retirement. With his strong will to work towards the development of the society , he gave a new ray of hope to villagers to build a school for girls on his ancestral property. ‘
“Honesty has always been the principle of my life. That is why people of my village have full faith in us. Right now, we are dealing with expenses by using our savings for retirement.
